My most embarrassing BU moment was when: I crossed Comm Ave with a parent and almost got hit by the T.
One invention that would make life easier would be: a voice-activated system for e-mails, memos, etc.
On a Friday night, you will find me: out to dinner, then to the movies.
If I had 2 million dollars, the first thing I would buy would be: a penthouse condo in Boston with a view of the River.
The most famous person I have ever met is: Bill Cosby.
The furthest country I have ever visited is: Australia...amazing. I can't wait to go back!

My most embarrassing BU moment was when: I spilled a large cart of Spring Open House supplies all over the T tracks with the T quickly approaching.
One invention that would make life easier would be: a car that drives itself.
On a Friday night, you will find me: eating some really good food that I did not cook.
If I had 2 million dollars, the first thing I would buy would be: a complete renovation of my bathroom.  I love those supersonic showers that spray water in all directions.

I spent this summer: In amazing and beautiful Hartford at a summer intern program at wonderful Hartford Hospital.  I saw the clinical side of things as well as took part in two research projects in Medical Toxicology.  One dealing with terrorism and screening for possible exposure to nerve agents.  The other project dealt with determining the validity and factors that effect clinical ethanol level testing. 
If I was not in engineering, I would be in: St. Croix bartending on the beach.
My favorite ice cream flavor is: Chocolate with raspberries.
My most embarrassing BU moment: the picture of me stuffing my face with lobster at Warren Dining Hall was put on the cover of the dining services advertisement.
One invention that would make life easier is: the ability to download and access  www.wikipedia.com and all of its articles and links into my brain. (this is not an advertisement)
On a Friday night, you will find me: memorizing the number pi to the 1,000th decimal place.
If I had 2 million dollars, the first thing I would do is : Red Sox and Celtics Season Tickets
The most famous person I have ever met is: Ray Allen
With one hour between classes, I : set my cellphone alarm to make sure I wake up in time.
On campus, you will always find me carrying: a drink and my two step

When I graduate, I want to: one or more of the following in no particular order...get a BME job, go to med school, go to business school, travel the world, and/or become a major developer in Hartford.

I spent this summer: Working as a Student Advisor for Orientation and assisting my coach in the development of a mentoring program for inner city high school athletes
If I were not in engineering, I would be in: SMG
My favorite ice cream flavor is: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.
My most embarrassing BU moment was when: I challenged the authority of my ultimately more intelligent and remarkably superior EK100 Student Advisor
One invention that would make life easier is: A time machine or an Iron Man suit
On a Friday night, you will find me: Catching up on sleep for a track meet
If I had 2 million dollars, the first thing I would buy is: freedom from Debt. Student loans.
The most famous person I've ever met is: Udonis Haslem.
With one hour between classes, I : eat or do work.

When I graduate, I want to: get a Master's degree.
The furthest country I have ever visited is: Jamaica
Jordan's Words of Wisdom: Learning is a process that cannot be rushed.  Sometimes when we slow things down we get where we want to be faster.

I spent this summer: working with two professors in the Earth Sciences department of CAS
If I were not in engineering, I would be in: CAS, probably changing my mind about majors way too often
My favorite ice cream flavor is: purple cow (raspberry with chocolate chips)
My most embarrassing BU moment was when: I fell on Comm. Ave.  All three occasions this happened on were equally embarrassing.
One invention that would make life easier is: A very very cheap dishwasher (no dish washing all semester!).
On a Friday night, you will find me: out with friends, or in watching a movie
If I had 2 million dollars, the first thing I would buy is: a house on the beach
The most famous person I've ever met is: The woman who used to announce the Massachusetts daily lottery numbers
With one hour between classes, I : eat a snack and attempt the crossword or sudoko in the newspaper
On campus, you will always find me carrying : my ID, keys, and phone (hopefully)
My favorite study spot is: probably going to be the study lounge on the top floor of the new student village.
When I graduate, I want to: Get a job or go to graduate school
The furthest country I have ever visited is: Poland
Meghan's Words of Wisdom: For your intro classes (like chemistry, physics, calculus) sign up for a tutor at the ERC (Education Resource Center) on the 3rd floor of the GSU.  They are really helpful!

I spent this summer: At an internship at The MedTech Group, Inc, a manufacturing facility for medical devices. And also found time to sit on the beach of course!
If I were not in engineering, I would be in: In social work.
My favorite ice cream flavor is: A toss-up between Ben and Jerry’s Chunky Monkey and Edy’s Mint Chocolate Chip.
My most embarrassing BU moment was when: Sophomore year when I walked home from the library in a blizzard after studying for finals all day and I slipped in the lobby of Shelton Hall three times in a row. The last time was into a complete split and the security guard had to help me up.
One invention that would make life easier is: A teleportation machine.
On a Friday night, you will find me: Not studying…
If I had 2 million dollars, the first thing I would buy is: An African Safari vacation.
The most famous person I've ever met is: Gavin DeGraw.
With one hour between classes, I : I like to walk along the Charles River on the esplanade.
On campus, you will always find me carrying : My cell phone, my iPod, my ID (and probably a cup of coffee!)
My favorite study spot is: Mugar Library- 3rd Floor.
When I graduate, I want to: HAVE A JOB!
The furthest country I have ever visited is: I studied abroad in Dresden, Germany and visited a lot of far countries: Germany, France, England, Sweden, Spain, Austria and the Czech Republic.
Dana's Words of Wisdom: When you need a break from doing work, take one. No matter how busy you think you are, there is always time to eat lunch, take a power nap, call a friend or watch your favorite television show, etc. After taking a rest you will be more productive.

I spent this summer: I spent my summer interning for Mercedes-Benz USA in the Service Engineering department.
If I were not in engineering, I would be in: Culinary Arts - specifically as a pastry chef :o)
My favorite ice cream flavor is: chocolate YuM!
My most embarrassing BU moment was when: I saw the comedian Bo Burnham perform at BU and he made me stand up in front of everyone and pointed out the shirt I made for the show. The whole thing even made its way into the Daily Free Press :oX
One invention that would make life easier is: I don't think you'd call it an invention, but I would love an extra day in the week to just chill out and relax - no school, work, or homework allowed on that day!
On a Friday night, you will find me: a) doing homework b)hanging around/relaxing or c) out with my friends
If I had 2 million dollars, the first thing I would buy is: A Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster 722 S -- google it -- this car is amazing!
The most famous person I've ever met is: I've met the members of New Found Glory, Paramore, Boys Like Girls, and Yellowcard :o)
With one hour between classes, I : I'll either grab something to eat or a quick coffee or I'll hang out in Ingalls and get some work done.
On campus, you will always find me carrying : My cell phone and most likely my calculator :o)
My favorite study spot is: I find that I get more work done when I am alone, so I tend to lock myself in my room.  Ingalls is really good too if you have questions since there are most likely 5 other people that are working on the same thing.
When I graduate, I want to: Design ROLLER COASTERS!! :o)
The furthest country I have ever visited is: I haven't left the country other than going to Canada and Aruba, but the furthest I've ever traveled was to Hawaii.

I spent this summer: Studying abroad in Dresden Germany. Once home I worked as a sailing instructor and prepared for being a student advisor.
If I were not in engineering, I would be in: Most likely be enrolled in the school of management.
My favorite ice cream flavor is: Chocolate ice cream or lemon gelato.
My most embarrassing BU moment was when: I showed up to the wrong class freshmen year and didn’t realize it until halfway through.
One invention that would make life easier is: A machine that slows time. There’s always a need for more time for one reason or another. Whether it’s to finish work or for more sleep, this invention would make life so much easier.
On a Friday night, you will find me: Out and about with friends at some social event or another.
If I had 2 million dollars, the first thing I would buy is: I’d pay off my student loans and college debt!
The most famous person I've ever met is: Working at Fenway Park I sold a (pink) cotton candy to Matthew McConaughey.

When I graduate, I want to: Have a manufacturing engineering job and eventually get my master’s degree in business administration.

David's Words of Wisdom: Engineering is difficult and will be difficult for the next four years. But if you keep your priorities straight and work hard, what you put into it you will get out of it. Also the most important thing about getting used to college is learning how to manage your time.

I spent this summer: Interning at Entergy Nuclear Operations Inc. (Nuclear Power Plant in Plymouth, MA)
If I were not in engineering, I would be in: CAS (Math or Computer Science Major)
My favorite ice cream flavor is: Breyer's Vanilla Fudge Twirl (I think it was discontinued though. :( If you find it anywhere, let me know!)
My most embarrassing BU moment was when: It's a tie. At the end of fall semester of my freshmen year, my parents came to my A Cappella group's Winter Concert. My Dad decided to wear a custom-made gray baseball hat that said LOBO in big bold capital red letters. Everyone in the room knew who my parents were. The other embarrassing moment happened during my semester abroad (Sophomore Year, Spring Semester). It was raining outside and we were walking back from German class. My umbrella was broken and a small flap was impeding my vision so I was looking at the ground as I was walking. As I was walking I saw a pole, but it was too late and I walked into it in front of everyone. To make things worse, I walked into it so fast that my umbrella was crushed.
One invention that would make life easier is: Wireless Electricity. I hate plugging in my laptop and my battery sucks.
On a Friday night, you will find me: Either at the hockey game if there is one or attempting to cook dinner for myself.
If I had 2 million dollars, the first thing I would buy is: A sweeeeeet car.
The most famous person I've ever met is: This is also a tie. I once saw Walter McCarty (Former Celtic Player) at a High School Reebok event, and in fourth grade on a field trip, my class met Elliot Jordan (Co-Owner Jordan's Furniture, I assume his last name is Jordan.)
With one hour between classes, I : Eat, sleep, or both.
On campus, you will always find me carrying : My laptop and some item of food.
My favorite study spot is: Ingalls for group work but Mugar if I'm studying by myself.
When I graduate, I want to: Go to grad school.
The furthest country I have ever visited is: India/Japan. I tried to figure out which one was farther using Google maps and it suggested that I use a canoe to get to Japan and it couldn't find any cities in India. So...fail.
Jon's Words of Wisdom: Use Ingalls. It is one of the single greatest resources to engineers as it provides a quiet area to study, separate rooms from group work, and a great place to meet other engineers.

My most embarrassing BU moment was when: a bus drove by during a huge snow/rain storm drenching all of us trying to escape after classes were cancelled.
One invention that would make life easier would be: Personal jetpack (or rocketpack).

My most embarrassing BU moment was when: *shrug*
One invention that would make life easier is: matter compressor/decompressor so I can carry everything I own in my pocket and be ready for weather changes or impromptu costume parties
On a Friday night, you will find me: watching Whale Wars on Animal Planet
If I had 2 million dollars, the first thing I would buy is: a new bike (and helmet), then a debt-free life
The most famous person I've ever met is: Barack Obama
With one hour between classes, I : do errands, go to the dining hall, or hang out at Ingalls
On campus, you will always find me carrying : Just the essentials (planer, color pens, pencils, graphite, stapler, notebooks, binders, pencil sharpener, tape, paperclips, band-aids, hand sanitizer, post-its...)
My favorite study spot is: Ingalls for group work or commiserating with classmates, otherwise, photonics
When I graduate, I want to: get an amazing internship before starting grad school

    Joe Pirrello, Biomedical, Sophomore, EK 100 B1

Hometown Wood-Ridge, New Jersey (10 min outside NYC)
I spent this summer: Took a summer class at Fordham University, went to three concerts, Dave Mathews and Incubus twice. Also spent a lot of time playing sports with my friends and working at a summer camp.
If I were not in engineering, I would be in: I think I would be either in some kind of field that would prepare me for law school, or I would be in the School of Education.
My favorite ice cream flavor is: Black Raspberry, there is a famous ice cream place by me that makes it and its to die for.
My most embarrassing BU moment was when: Before coming to BU I had never watched or followed hockey and the first game I went to I said really loud “What is a Sieve?!” and everyone stared me down until my friend sitting next to me quietly explained it to me .
One invention that would make life easier is: I don’t know if anyone has seen the movie The Fifth Element, but it’s a sci-fi movie and in it they have these pills that you put on a plate and then throw in this microwave looking thing for like 5 seconds and you get out a huge dinner. That would be awesome!
On a Friday night, you will find me: Well this next semester, unfortunately I have a night lab on Friday night, but normally ill be at the hockey games in 118, or hanging out with friends, I try really hard not to do work on Friday nights.
If I had 2 million dollars, the first thing I would buy is: A Porsche Carrera GT2, along with a couple other cars, I am kind of a car freak
The most famous person I've ever met is: Greg Nettles, famous Yankee third baseman. Sat next to him at a game his son was playing in. LETS GO YANKS!
With one hour between classes, I : southern part of Mexico on a cruise

My favorite study spot is: definitely the study lounge on the top floor of Shelton Hall. It has a panoramic view of the city with windows on all the walls and it is just a great atmosphere to study in

My most embarrassing BU moment was when: I fell asleep in CH131 (8AM...) and started to snore so the kids behind me got mad and woke me up. When I came out of my daze I realized everyone around me was starting, proceeding to turn as red as a tomato.
One invention that would make life easier is: The watch in that Nickelodeon movie Clock-stoppers that makes the molecules in your body move real fast so it seems like time is passing by extremely slow.

My most embarrassing BU moment was when: I thought I was being really helpful in the Myles laundry room and put clothes from two dryers (that had stopped at the same time) into one, turns out, the clothes from the two dryers were not the same person's, and the two people walked in on me unintentionally mixing up their clothes
One invention that would make life easier is: A transporter, so I could simply beam myself from my room to class, which would be lovely, particularly during the beautiful Boston winter
On a Friday night, you will find me: At Fenway Theater seeing a movie with my friends after eating dinner at one of our favorite restaurants or out in Boston exploring the city
If I had 2 million dollars, the first thing I would buy is: Signed copies of all the Harry Potter books!

Stephanie's Words of Wisdom: Engineering requires a lot of hard work and dedication. You will learn not only how to manage your time but to utilize your resources. However, don't let your coursework take over your life. College is about new experiences and trying all sorts of new things. Take a few hours every week and participate in the amazing stuff that Boston University and Boston have to offer. Also, make sure to go to at least one hockey game, eat a burger from UBurger, and sit on the BU Beach and listen to the "waves".

My most embarrassing BU moment was when: I had pulled an all nighter at Ingalls and before class I decided to get some coffee.  As I walked out of starbucks and into the torrential rain/wind I attempted to open my umbrella with my hands full and it got caught in my hair and knocked hot coffee all over me.
One invention that would make life easier is: A transporter - traveling takes up way to much of my time and money.

One invention that would make life easier is: A complete digital replacement for your notebooks, binders, textbooks, backpack, phone and MP3: an easy-to-use and super slim tablet, which would house a large display and could fold up and fit into your pocket.
On a Friday night, you will find me: Catching up on TV shows or books, or whatever comes to the occasion.
If I had 2 million dollars, the first thing I would buy is: A Tesla Model S
The most famous person I've ever met is: The guy who was on the Numa Numa YouTube video.  I think I've seen him three or four times on the T, but I'm not totally sure if it was in fact him.
