Senior Design Project
The College of Engineering Senior Design Project is the capstone of the undergraduate programs. Senior Design gives students and teams the opportunity to analyze an engineering problem, design a viable solution, and present that solution to an engineering community of faculty, peers and industry professionals. It is the most challenging and rewarding experiences of the College of Engineering.
STARS Undergraduate Summer Research Program
The Summer Term Alumni Research Scholars (STARS) Program is an undergraduate program that engages students in faculty-mentored full-time research experiences throughout the summer.
College of Engineering Career Fair
The BU College of Engineering Career Fair is an opportunity for College of Engineering undergraduates, graduates and alumni to meet with employers about potential engineering-specific job opportunities, internships and co-op opportunities. Sponsored by the College of Engineering Career Development Office, the Career Fair serve can serve as a point-of-first contact for students as they take the first steps in their professional careers.
Introduction to Aircraft Performance (ENG ME 201)
Introduction to Aircraft Performance (ENG ME 201) introduces fundamental concepts in aerospace and mechanical engineering including basic fluid mechanics, the science of flight, and aircraft performance parameters. In this class, students learn the limits, height and speed of an aircraft. Students develop an aircraft, design its wings and test their aircraft in a wind tunnel and other environments.
