Latin Honors

Among the Graduating Seniors in the College of Engineering.

• The top 5 percent will be awarded degrees summa cum laude
• The next 10 percent will be awarded degrees magna cum laude
• The next 15 percent will be awarded degrees cum laude

The 'Required GPA' for each honors is determined on February 1 of each year and will apply to the May graduates as well as the subsequent September and January graduates.

FOR STUDENTS GRADUATING MAY 2012, SEPTEMBER 2012 AND JANUARY 2013

• GPA Required for Cum Laude: 3.39-3.62
• GPA Required for Magna Cum Laude: 3.63-3.87
• GPA Required for Summa Cum Laude: 3.88-4.00
