2004 Senior Project Day

If you felt the wind blowing along Commonwealth Avenue last week, you might have been caught in the crosswinds of Engineering seniors breathing a collective sigh of relief.  That's because on April 29th, after two semesters of research and hard work, teams of students from all majors across the College of Engineering presented their Senior Projects, one of the final hurdles on the way to graduation.

Senior Project Day is the culmination of a capstone course that is required for graduation by all College of Engineering majors. Over two semesters students form teams, research project concepts, prepare project proposals, and develop innovative solutions to real-world issues.  Finally, at the end of the second semester, students are required to present their projects, findings, and solutions to faculty, peers, and the commissioners of their project.
