Curricular Practical Training (CPT)

Curricular Practical Training (CPT) is the legal authorization for international students to do an internship that qualifies for the required experiential component of College of Engineering concentrations. Such an internship also referred to as a co-op.

To be eligible for co-op, undergraduate international students must have a declared concentration with an experiential component.

The steps and timeline for this process, from start to finish, are available within the Career Development section of our site, under Instructions for International Students – Undergraduate.
