Please click on authors.elsevier.com to register (for first time users) and to check the status of an accepted paper. Note that the Gateway data applies only to manuscripts that have been accepted. To check on the status of a submitted manuscript, please contact the Editor at mnh@bu.edu

Features of the Author Gateway Tracking Service:

Once the Editor has communicated to Elsevier that a manuscript has been accepted for publication, the paper is registered in the tracking system. Authors may then view the status of the paper at any time. Each step in the production process is automatically updated in the Author Gateway. Authors may set up e-mail alerting to be informed of changes in status of a paper as it moves through production.

Authors with accepted papers in production at Elsevier Science will have almost immediate access to the following tracking information:

* General production status (i.e., in preparation or in proof)

* Date of publication & reprint dispatch date

* Citation information (volume, issue & page numbers)

Please note that tracking information in the Author Gateway only shows details about papers that have been accepted for publication (excluding online submission) and forwarded to Elsevier for production. If your paper is still under review, please contact the Editor directly for status information.
