GUIDELINES
As a general guideline, the manuscript should not exceed 20 pages inclusive
of figures. The typical Journal of Electrostatics paper includes
about 6-8 pages of text.
MANSUCRIPT SUBMISSION
INSTRUCTIONS
- Manuscripts
should be submitted electronically using Elsevier’s online
submission system. The site may be found at ees.elsevier.com/elstat/
- As of February
1, 2008, e-mail and paper submissions will no longer be accepted to
the Journal of Electrostatics.
- Submission of
a manuscript implies that it is not under consideration for publication
elsewhere, and that the paper presents original work not previously
published.
MANUSCRIPT
FORMAT
No special format
is required, as all manuscripts accepted for publication will be typeset
by Elsevier. The following general guidelines should be followed:
- The manuscript
should
be spaced at 1.5 or 2.0 line spacing.
- The
first page should include the names and affiliations of all authors
and the contact information for the corresponding author.
- References
should be numbered consecutively throughout the text and collected
together in a reference list at the end of the paper. Journal titles
should be abbreviated. The abbreviated title should be followed by
volume number, year (in parentheses), and page number.
- All
illustrations and tables should be numbered consecutively and submitted
as separate files (see instructions at ees.elsevier.com/elstat/
- Captions for
the illustrations must be submitted in a separate list.
- Prior to final
publication, authors will receive page proofs which must be corrected
for typesetting errors only and return as soon as possible. No new
material may be inserted in the text at the time of proofreading.
REPRINTS
- 50 reprints
total of each paper will be supplied free of charge to the author(s).
Additional copies can be ordered at prices shown on the reprint order
form which accompanies the page proofs.
