Professor Sasha Taubin Passes Away

It is with sadness that the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering acknowledges the passing of our colleague and friend Professor Sasha Taubin.

Sasha joined the Department in January 2002. He was an excellent teacher who was active in computer systems research. Prior to ECE, he held academic and professional positions in industry and universities in Japan, Russia, and the United States.

He was a devoted teacher who placed an emphasis on providing a solid education to both graduate and undergraduate students. His contributions and dedicated service to the ECE Department, College of Engineering, and Boston University will be greatly missed.
