Third Annual CISE Graduate Student Research Award: Science & Engineering Research Symposium 2006


The Center for Information and Systems Engineering (CISE) launched their Third Annual Poster Awards event at Science and Engineering Day 2006. All students working with CISE affiliated faculty were eligible.

Congratulations to CISE students:

George Atia won the Deans Award from the College of Engineering for his presentation “Outage in Cooperative Wireless Networks.” Shuchin Aeron won the CISE Award for his presentation “Energy Efficient Policies for Distributed Target Tracking in Multi-hop Sensor Networks.”

Both George and Shuchin are students of Professor Venkatesh Saligrama of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.
