Owing to a convergence of events, including rising energy prices, concerns about climate change, the desire to reduce the use of fossil fuels, and the advancement of clean energy, energy efficiency has yet to see a period in history more open to its products than now—how timely for us!

Join fellow Boston University alumni and friends for a day filled with intellectual stimulation and professional networking at the BU Energy Network’s Kick-off Program: The Future of Energy Efficiency.

Three innovators of energy efficiency technology will profile their companies and products. We’ll also hear from Darien Crimmin, Vice President of Energy and Sustainability for WinnCompanies, about the Deep Energy Retrofit underway at Castle Square Apartments, Boston. Keynote speaker Mark Sylvia, Commissioner, Department of Energy Resources (DOER), will join us for lunch to elaborate on how Massachusetts came to be ranked first in the nation for energy efficiency.

A continental breakfast and lunch is included in the registration fee.
