This project develops a framework for the design and operation of smart micro-grid-enabled buildings that interact with electricity markets. These advanced sustainable buildings consume and produce energy via a smart micro-grid that integrates smart appliances, distributed storage, energy generation, and other grid friendly uses such as plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.
