ENACT will be all over the country this Spring reporting on our research progress to the arthritis and rehabilitation scientific community.

Investigator Dr. Jessica Maxwell and doctoral fellow Molly Vaughan will each present at the American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting (APTA/CSM) in Las Vegas on February 3-6, 2014.  Dr. Maxwell’s talk, “The Effect of Knee Replacement on Participation Restriction: The MOST and OAI Studies”, will be part of a platform presentation at 11 am on Tuesday, February 4th.  Ms. Vaughan will present her poster, “Mapping Environmental Features in the Environment-participation Literature of Older Adults to the ICF Framework” during the 1-3 pm session on Tuesday, February 4th.

Also keep an eye out for ENACT at the national American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) annual meeting in Baltimore, MD, where doctoral fellow Rawan AlHeresh will present two abstracts.  The AOTA conference takes place immediately prior to ENACT’s own Arthritis State of the Science Conference on April 7th, 2014 in Pentagon City VA – just a short train ride away!  Later this summer, doctoral Fellow Aileen Ledingham will present work from the BOOST study at June’s American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Annual Meeting in Charlotte, NC.

Keep an eye out for ENACT at all of these meetings!
