ENACT is please to announce that registration is NOW OPEN for the Arthritis State of the Science Meeting Promoting Activity and Participation among Persons with Arthritis, to be held in Pentagon City, Virginia on April 7 th, 2014. Content and discussion will focus on three primary areas: rehabilitation, community, and employment. The dialogue created by bringing together experts in the fields of rheumatology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and rehabilitation will serve the ultimate goal of moving the arthritis activity and participation research and policy agenda forward. The Conference will be preceded by a New Investigator Workshop on Advancing Arthritis Research for new investigators during the afternoon of April 6th. The Workshop will include opportunities for individual mentoring, as well as presentations on using large data sets and selecting optimal outcome measures. Workshop mentors include Drs. Julie Keysor, David Felson, Alan Jette, Jonathan Bean, Paolo Bonato, Nancy Baker, and Michael LaValley.
