ENACT Presents at Annual NARRTC Meeting in Washington, DC
ENACT director Dr. Julie Keysor and doctoral fellow Aileen Ledingham recently presented at the Annual Meeting for the National Association of Rehabilitation, Research and Training Centers (NARRTC). ENACT is proud to contribute to the NARRTC annual meeting, which took place in Washington, DC on April 18-19th 2013. NARRTC is affiliated with the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR), which funds the ENACT center as its national Arthritis Rehabilitation, Research, and Training Center (RRTC).
Dr. Keysors talk, “The Effect of Knee Replacement on Participation Restrictions: The Multicenter Osteoarthritis Study” presented collaborative work led by ENACT investigator Dr. Jessica Maxwell using data from the Multicenter Osteoarthritis Study (MOST).
Aileen Ledingham’s talk “Telephone Counseling for Long-Term Adherence to Strength Training for Knee Osteoarthritis (OA): A Pilot Study” presented findings from the pilot study which led to the ENACT BOOST project, which is currently underway.
