Congratulations to ENACT Faculty who presented at the recent American College of Rheumatology and Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals (ACR/ARHP) Annual Scientific Meeting November 6-9th, 2011 in Chicago, IL.  Presentations given by ENACT affiliates include:

Michael LaValley, PhD and Dan K. White, PT,  ScD presented a standing-room only lecture entitled “To P or Not to P- Knowing When the p-value is Less Than Useful”. The talk focused on the use of p-value in statistical analysis of arthritis research. Please click here to view the presentation.

Julie Keysor, PT, PhD and Saralynn Allaire ScD, CRC were members of an interdisciplinary panel titled, “Keep People with Arthritis Working: An Interactive Case-Based Workshop”. The 2-hour symposium consisted of a “hands-on” workshop on resources to overcome common arthritis-related employment barriers.  Participants were very interactive and highly interested in the strategies discussed.

Jessica Maxwell, PT, DPT, OCS with David T. Felson and co-authors presented a poster titled “Does Important Improvement in Function After Knee Replacement Guarantee Good Absolute Function”.
