photo of Julie KeysorJulie Keysor, director of ENACT, became a dynamic conversation starter this spring. On March 22, Keysor gave an invited talk at the CDC-sponsored public health consortium at the Arthritis, Bone, and Disability Conference in Lansing, Mich. About 75 attendees, ranging from people with arthritis to people who deliver community exercise programs, heard her talk “Active Living with Arthritis—Participation, Environment, and Physical Activity.” Keysor’s talk started an engaging conversation about how to get more patients involved with these programs, develop valuable social connections, and have fun!
