Inspections

Environmental Health and Safety offers a myriad of safety inspections throughout the Boston University community. Inspections include, but are not limited to:

• Laboratory Inspections: Chemical, Biological, Radiation, Fire and General Inspections
• Residential Fire and Life Safety Inspections, Annual Dormitory, Summer Camp Building, Fire, and Campus Wide Building Inspections.  For more information please contact us.
• Asbestos: The Boston University Asbestos Management Plan is designed to comply with these recommendations through a combination of training, multi-office cooperation and construction planning. When necessary, removal and repair is conducted by State-licensed asbestos abatement contractors and monitored by State-licensed Asbestos Project Monitors
