Dosimetry

Radiation Safety facilitates and monitors all radioactivity at Boston University and Boston Medical Center. A major component of Radiation Safety is to distribute, survey and monitor all dosimetry devices to Boston University and Boston Medical Center employees. Dosimeters are distributed to individuals who may or may not reach their acute or annual exposure limits. Please contact Radiation Safety if you have any questions or concerns. To request a dosimetry device, please fill out the Dosimetry Request Form and email to RPO.

To declare a pregnancy, which is on a voluntary basis, please fill out the Pregnancy Declaration as well as the Dosimetry Request Form. After completing these forms, contact the Radiation Safety Officer at 8 x7052 or by email to set up a pregnancy consultation. If pregnancy dosimetry is requested, a consultation with the RSO must be completed.
