General Information

We welcome contributions concerning any aspect of the behavior, ecology, evolution and conservation of marine and freshwater fishes worldwide. All symposia are open to contributed oral and poster presentations. You may indicate a preference for a symposium when you submit your abstract, but it is not necessary that your contributed paper fit into one of the four planned symposia. Please refer to symposia for descriptions and contacts.

Oral presentations will take place daily from June 30 through July 3. Symposia will be made up of invited and contributed papers. The scheduling for all of the sessions will be organized once the May 15 abstract deadline has passed. The poster session will take place the evening of June 30 with a social that includes a barbeque dinner. Posters will remain up for additional viewing on July 1.

The organizing committee welcomes and looks forward to receiving abstracts for your contributed papers.

Manuscripts from papers presented at the EEEF 2008 meeting will be considered for publication in a special issue of the refereed journal, Environmental Biology of Fishes, if submitted to the Editor-in-Chief, Professor David L. G. Noakes.
