Boston University is easily reached by public transportation from Logan International Airport.

The conference lodging and welcome reception will be located at 10 Buick Street ("Student Village").

The meeting venue will be located in the GSU at 775 Commonwealth Avenue.

Currency Exchange at Logan Airport
Currency exchange offices are located at Logan Airport, as well as at many large banks.

ARRIVING BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
The MBTA (known as the "T") is Massachusetts public transportation agency.

1. Take the T's Silver Line Bus from any airport terminal to South Station.
2. At South Station, take the red line subway inbound to Park Street Station.
3. At Park Street, change to the Green Line B train outbound.
Be sure to take the B line trains that say they are going to Boston College.
Other outbound green lines do not go up Commonwealth Avenue where Boston University is located.
4. After the Kenmore Square station, the B line subway goes above ground and travels westbound along Commonwealth Ave.
Boston University is located along Commonwealth Ave long before Boston College which is the final stop on the B line.

5. To reach the conference lodging and welcome reception at 10 Buick St. (Student Village):
A. Continue 5 more stops westbound on the B line after Kenmore Square Station to disembark at the St. Paul Street stop.
B. Exit the train and cross the street to continue walking westbound (outbound) on Commonwealth Avenue.
C. You will be at the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Buick Street. The FitRec Center is at this corner.
D. Continue walking briefly westbound on Commonwealth Avenue to the walkway in front of the Fit Rec Center at 915 Commonwealth Ave.
E. Use the walkway between the FitRec Center and the Agganis Arena (925 Commonwealth Avenue) and follow it around to the right to get to the main entrance of 10 Buick Street. The main entrance of 10 Buick Street will be on your left when you are at the rear of FitRec. (The main entrance of 10 Buick is not located on Buick Street, so approaching from Commonwealth Avenue is a better route.)

ARRIVAL BY TAXI TO 10 BUICK STREET: The fare is approximately $30 USD one way. See Getting To And From Logan for taxi info.
1. Ask the Cab Driver to drop you at the Boston University FitRec Center at 915 Commonwealth Avenue.
2. Use the walkway between the FitRec Center and the Agganis Arena (925 Commonwealth Avenue) and follow it around to the right to get to the main entrance of 10 Buick Street. The main entrance of 10 Buick Street will be on your left when you are at the rear of FitRec.
3. If you get dropped off on Buick Street instead, you will need to go up stairs behind FitRec to reach the main entrance of the apartments.

DRIVING TO 10 BUICK STREET (Lodging and Welcome Reception) and THE GSU (Meeting Venue):
Please purchase parking permits with registration.

PARKING FOR 10 BUICK STREET LODGING:
If staying overnight for lodging:
1. Use the parking lot at 808 Commonwealth Avenue.
NOTE: Please pick up your permit at 10 Buick Street front desk before or after you park .
2. At the parking lot entrance, walk left (westbound) on Commonwealth Avenue to St. Paul Street a few blocks up and cross "Comm" Ave there.
3. You will be at the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Buick Street. The FitRec Center is at this corner.
4. Continue walking briefly westbound on Commonwealth Avenue to the walkway in front of the Fit Rec Center at 915 Commonwealth Ave.

PARKING FOR THE EVENING WELCOME RECEPTION AT 10 BUICK STREET:
Metered parking is free on Sunday. Spaces should be available on Commonwealth Avenue.
Paid parking in a garage is also available below the Agganis Arena at 925 Commonwealth Avenue, enter behind the building via Buick Street or Harry Agganis Way.

ARRIVING AT THE CONFERENCE MEETING VENUE IN THE GSU (775 Commonwealth Ave):


BY CAR:
Park in the Warren Towers basement lot at 700 Commonwealth Avenue located on the corner of Hinsdale St. Enter on Hinsdale.
Permits purchased in advance will be at the lot. If you did not pay for parking permits beforehand, the charge is $8/day.
Cross Commonwealth Avenue and walk left westbound up a few blocks to the GSU.

BY SUBWAY:
Take the GREEN line B train outbound that travels to Boston University on its way to Boston College.
The Boston University Central (3 stops westbound after Kenmore Square Station) is very close to the GSU.

BY BUS:
The MBTA bus stop at University Road is also very close to the GSU.
