Intellectual Property Rights

The Institute for Economic Development makes every effort to protect intellectual property rights. If you believe that a listing in the main catalog of the Research Data Network is in breach of your intellectual property rights, please contact immediately.

Access to data in the network is administered by the IED and governed by the contributor of the data. Most data sets in the IED Research Data Network, including some labeled as “free access”, are the intellectual property of a member of the BU Economics community or of the BU Economics department itself. Therefore, access to data sets in the network is generally restricted to members of the BU Economics community. In addition, users of the network who are granted access to a data set are not permitted to distribute it or share it with anyone else.
