Albert Ma’s research areas are in industrial organization, incentives, and health economics. His recent papers study moral hazard due to disability insurance, asymmetric information in physician agency, quality reports and incentives, imperfect competition with selection, competition between public and private firms, and experts’ incentives in markets and organizations. Besides teaching at Boston University, he has lectured on industrial organization and health economics in Finland, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, and Switzerland.
