The
working paper series publishes research manuscripts of faculty
members and visiting scholars of the Boston University Economics
Department, the Industry Studies Program, and the Insititute
for Economic Development. In most cases, papers in the series
eventually will be published in peer-reviewed journals. The
working paper series facilitates quick dissemination of research
results and promotion of intellectual exchange between researchers.
