ECE Engineers “Drive” the Automotive Industry

A single modern automobile contains more microprocessors (tiny computers) than a  large office building. These devices, which control everything from the GPS navigation system and fuel injection to anti-lock breaking to the environmental controls and sound systems, are designed, fabricated, and installed by Electrical and Computer Engineers.

Everything including engine control, anti-lock braking, emission control, and smart locks relies on the work of Electrical and Computer Engineers at work in the Automotive and Transportation industries.

Is ECE right for me?
