Consequences of extreme weather events or disasters are increasingly common and more devastating to populations and their property. The effects of natural disasters are more devastating to communities in developing countries where response systems are not well developed, and in certain situations, non-existent. Many of the populations affected by disasters survive because of assistance brought to them by local and international humanitarian agencies. This session will discuss practical ways to respond and intervene. For more information on upcoming seminar topics and guest speakers, please visit sph.bu.edu/ehseminars
