The Division of Religious and Theological
Studies (DRTS), a unit of the Graduate
School of Arts and Sciences, offers
MA and PhD degrees in twelve
areas of specialization in three program
areas: I. Religious Texts and Traditions;
II. Religion, Philosophy, and Ethics; and
III. Religion, Culture, and Society.
Through the Boston
Theological Institute, DRTS students
may also register for courses at Andover-Newton
Theological School, Boston College, Harvard
Divinity School, Gordon-Conwell School
of Theology, St. John's Seminary, and
Weston School of Theology. All DRTS PhD
students, regardless of whether they
are enrolled in Institute courses, have
access to member libraries.
