Student Residential Life COVID-19 FAQs
For more information on BU’s plans to reopen, please visit our Back2BU website.
The Student Residential Life Working Group is tasked with considering the campus activities of the University’s nearly 35,000 undergraduates and graduate students. Our aim is to reestablish the residential college experience, which extends well beyond the classroom. Our initial strategy is to build smaller communities within the broader university to allow for meaningful connections and, at the same time, to foster the safety, health and wellbeing of the greater BU community. We have developed a guide, Same Campus, New Campus Life, for undergraduate students living on campus, and the team is currently working on a guide specifically for graduate students. We expect that some events and programming will, at least initially, be presented virtually. The evolving nature of the pandemic and the enormous effort required to reopen a university of our size means we don’t currently have all the specifics, but the Dean of Students Office’s top priority is safety and we are working diligently. Please check back regularly as we’ll post the latest information here. If you have additional questions, please reach out to the Dean of Students office at email@example.com or 617-353-4126.
