Boston University Trombone Choir

The Boston University Trombone Choir, directed by Don Lucas and Gabe Langfur, presents the music of Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Fauré, Hidas and Dilorenzo in concert on Thursday November 14, at 8pm in the United Parish in Brookline Sanctuary. Admission is free! The BU Trombone Choir performs throughout New England, and has given concerts at the Eastern Trombone Workshop in Washington D.C., the University of Costa Rica in San Jose, the National Institute of Music and Saint Bartholomew’s Catholic Church in Barva, the Fruhling Posaunen (Springtime Trombones) Festival at Ithaca College of Music, at Yale University in New Haven, CT, and jointly with the Salvation Army’s New York Staff Band, at Gordon College, Wenham, MA. Boston University Trombone Choir has been awarded “Honorable Mention” in the International Trombone Association’s 2012, 2013 & 2016 Emory Remington International Trombone Choir Competition. The United Parish in Brookline is located at 210 Harvard Street, two blocks from the Coolidge Corner T-Stop, and is wheelchair accessible.
