11th Annual Morris Lecture in Sociology

11th Annual Albert Morris Lecture in Sociology will be presented by Eric Klinenberg, Professor of Sociology and Director, The Institute for Public Knowledge, New York University. Named in honor of the first Chair of the BU Sociology Department, this lectureship was established in 2009 after a generous gift from an anonymous alumnus. Dr. Klinenberg will speak on his latest book Palaces for the People: How Social Infrastructure Can Help Fight Inequality, Polarization, and the Decline of Civic Life on Thursday April 4. The lecture will take place at 5 p.m., followed by a reception.
