The Boston Invitational Model United Nations Conference, held each February, is a three-day conference that encourages high school delegates to explore the complexities of international affairs and stimulate their interest in problem solving and debate. With over 1400 high school students attending the conference from the U.S. and countries as distant as China and Guatemala, BosMUN remains among the top Model UN conferences for high school students in the world. Over 140 student volunteers from BU International Affairs Association work tirelessly throughout the year to create a memorable conference with an environment conducive to active and educated debate of some of the most challenging questions facing the international community. Boston University students are encouraged to staff the conference to learn about Model United Nations and while getting the younger generation excited about their own involvement in interational affairs.
