Seven Steps to Managing Your Memory - What's Normal, What's Not, and What to Do About It

  • Starts: 6:00 pm on Tuesday, July 25, 2017
  • Ends: 7:30 pm on Tuesday, July 25, 2017
A book-release event with co-author Andrew Budson, MD, at Goddard House Assisted Living. Presented with the Boston University Alzheimer's Disease Center. As you age, you may find yourself worrying about your memory. Where did I put those keys? What time was my appointment? What was her name again? With more than 41 million Americans over the age of 65 in the United States, the question becomes how much (or, perhaps, what type) of memory loss is to be expected as one gets older and what should trigger a visit to the doctor. Seven Steps to Managing Your Memory addresses these concerns! Dr. Andrew Budson is Professor of Neurology at Boston University's School of Medicine, Associate Director of Research at the Boston University Alzheimer's Disease Center, Lecturer in Neurology at Harvard Medical School, and Consultant Neurologist at the Division of Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology, Depart of Neurology, at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He sees patients and teaches at his memory disorders clinic at VA Boston. 6 PM - Reception 6:30-7:30 PM - Talk & Discussion
