A Message from the Dean of Students

We do our best to help keep the University community as safe as possible.  A truly safe campus can be achieved best through a continued awareness and thoughtfulness of all members of the community towards issues of personal safety.  This brochure provides you with safety information and advice that will assist you in making the best decisions for your personal well-being and the wellness of those around you.  I ask all members of our community to make personal safety their highest priority. 

Living and studying in Boston is an exciting experience.  As safe as the city seems, we can all use a reminder that Boston, like any urban setting, is not entirely free of risks.  It is important that you are mindful of your surroundings, behavior, and any risk you may put yourself in and act accordingly. Stay safe and be well.
