The future of international study: how might it be impacted?

Global Programs and the Dean of Students office have teamed up on a second panel for international students seeking advice and information about their continued study at Boston University and other institutions in the United States. It is taking place Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 3:30pm in the George Sherman Union Metcalf Hall.

Panelists include:
• BU Law Professor Jack Beermann will discuss issues that arise in presidential transitions, constraints on unilateral presidential power and issues relating to the election process and separation of powers in the United States government.
• Immigration Attorney Elizabeth Goss will discuss possible impacts to President Obama’s deferred action programs and employment-based immigration issues.
• Managing Director of the ISSO Jeanne Kelley will talk about how all of these changes may impact our international student and scholar community.
• Moderator: Willis G. Wang, Vice President and Associate Provost for Global Programs.
