Get Schooled: Class on Police Misconduct and Race
Props to Professor Jack Beerman for opening his classes on police misconduct and race. He scored a larger space and invites you in to the classroom. Check out his note to me:
These are the classes on race . . . All students are welcome, although some of it will be a bit technical for non-law students.
March 3: 210 to 410 in [Sumner] room 102
March 5: 1 to 3pm in [Sumner] room 211
These classes are open to the entire student body subject to space availability. I will also record them. I am attaching materials. They are long but I have notes on the front page about what to actually read.
Students can attend some or all of the classes – they should feel free to come and go.
[Also] on Thursday, March 5, Assistant United States Attorney Theodore Merritt will speak at 1 p.m. on Federal Civil Rights Enforcement.
A great learning opportunity. Again, big props to Professor Beerman.
Peace.
