Splash into BU! Join a Student Organization

Sure! Student clubs are a great for meet-ups with other students, but student-run organizations are also a decent way work on an initiative; plan a specific event; or, work on a key cause with other interested students. Involvement in these organizations is a way for you to share your personal expertise, knowledge, and experience. And, student clubs and organizations are also cool platforms for performance propelling your own self-expression. Jump in and show us what you’ve got at one of these student organization open houses:

Hillel Bagel Brunch and Open House
Sunday 9/1, 10:30 – 11:30 am at Hillel

Club Sports Expo
Monday 9/2, 12:00 – 3:00 pm outside of FitRec

Student Government Leadership Symposium
Wednesday 9/4, 6:00 pm at SMG Auditorium
Hosted by Student Government, this is an opportunity for new Terriers to meet representatives from BU’s administrative student groups and learn about exciting ways to get involved in organizations ranging from BU Athletics to the Allocations Board to Greek Life. More at: bugov.org.

Saturday 9/7, 1:00 – 4:00 pm at Cummington Mall
SPLASH into the school year and explore all that Student Activities has to offer; discover what you love to do or find a new passion. You’ll enjoy the sounds of WTBU (recently named radio station of the year!), plus hundreds of student organizations, carnival games, and loads of treats during this fun-filled afternoon.

Sustainability Festival
Thursday 9/12, 11:00 am – 2:30 pm at Marsh Plaza
Enjoy tasty foods including kettle corn and local pastries. Register your own bicycle or enter to win a new one and pick up cool gear.
