Stay Healthy with Student Health Services

With H1N1 flu a real factor in our current lives, the Dean of Students Office would like to remind you that Student Health Services (SHS) is available on campus to help you protect yourself against and treat this illness.

In the event you come down with the symptoms of the flu (high fever with cough, sore throat and body aches), please call Student Health Services at 617-353-3575 or message a nurse through the SHS website. Please do not physically visit SHS unless directed to by a staff member.

If you are ill and live on campus, please let your Resident Assistant or Residence Hall Director know. They will assist you during your illness. Make every attempt to stay isolated until you are fever free for 24 hours (this will most likely take four days or so.)

For more tips on preventing and treating the flu, please check out the SHS website and the FYI Student Blog entries on the subject!
