Interviewing

Interviewing is the most widely used method for selecting employees. The interview enables the employer to evaluate a candidate’s personality, strengths, education, and work experiences. It has been described as a “mutual exchange of information” because it also affords the candidate an opportunity to gain information about the position and to evaluate how these match his/her own skills, interests, and career goals. Remember, interviewing involves thoughtful articulation as well as active listening.
