Dr. Wael Youseff is an assistant professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery at Boston University. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Damascus University, Syria. He then obtained a Doctor of Dental Medicine diploma from the Advanced Standing program at the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Youseff graduated from the Boston University oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program in 2010 and following residency training, he completed a one year surgical fellowship in St. Louis, Missouri with emphasis on facial cosmetic surgery.  He is actively involved in the training of surgical residents, dental and medical students and is also involved with research in the areas of inferior alveolar and lingual nerve repair and temporomandibular joint disease.

Dr. Youseff’s clinical interests include facial cosmetic surgery, trauma surgery, nerve repair, and the surgical management of temporomandibular joint disease.
