Dr. John Morgan, a graduate of Boston Latin High School, attended Boston University School of Fine Arts and the University of Massachusetts Boston. He began his post graduate education at Howard University College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1987. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery training at Boston University and affiliated hospitals in 1991, serving as the Chief Resident from 1990-1991. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Morgan is an active staff member at Emerson Hospital as part of his private practices which are located in the suburban towns of Lexington and Concord, MA. His teaching responsibilities include clinical care of patients and education of residents at Boston Medical Center. He teaches ambulatory anesthesia techniques to our senior-level oral and maxillofacial surgery residents in the Moakley Ambulatory Surgical Center and also has on-call responsibilities. Dr. Morgan often operates on urgent and trauma cases with residents at the hospital. His clinical interests include surgical implantology, dentoalveolar surgery, anesthesia and trauma surgery.
