Jennifer Soncini

Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatric Dentistry; Clinical Associate Professor of General Dentistry;

Dr Soncini is a board-certified Pediatric Dentist and Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr Soncini specializes in clinical care and in patients with special health care needs. Her special interests include prevention, therapeutic approaches, basic and advanced behavior guidance and all clinical aspects of Pediatric Dentistry. She works closely with the Boston University Pediatric Dentistry residents providing care for all pediatric dental patients.
Dr Soncini was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She completed her dental training at Universidad Central de Venezuela. She received a DMD degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She completed her certification in Pediatric Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, followed by a residency at New England Medical Center and a Fellowship in Patients with Cerebral Palsy from Tufts University. Dr Soncini has worked in clinical research at The Forsyth Institute and in collaboration with New England Research Institute and has published numerous articles. Dr Soncini is part of the pediatric dental team that provides care at BMC, Franciscan Children’s Hospital and Boston University. Additionally, Dr Soncini is a diplomate of The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has served as an examiner for the Oral Clinical Examination for fifteen years.
