Overview:

Extraction of hopeless teeth is a daily treatment. Socket preservation is a treatment option often overlooked, leading to esthetic and functional issues over time. Attendees will use models to examine specific indications and surgical techniques for grafting extraction sites and the benefits this treatment offers for both tooth-based and implant-based restorations. Differences in bone grafting and membrane materials will also be reviewed.

  • Understand the indications for socket preservation
  • Learn techniques for surgical extractions with minimum loss of bone
  • Review the differences between bone-grafting and membrane materials
