On May 11, Restorative Sciences/Biomaterials hosted the 7th Annual Continuing Education Lecture and AEGD Alumni Reunion at the Trustee Ballroom. The topic of this year’s lecture was “Pink and White Esthetics: Establishing the Framework for Esthetic Success,” presented by Dr. Marc L. Nevins. The GSDM Lambda Mu Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society (OKU) held its 5th annual OKU Induction Ceremony on May 10, at the BU Trustee Ballroom. Laughter and cheers were overheard in the sixth-floor reception area during lunchtime on Monday, May 14. Members of the ASDA Legislative Committee, Robert Cauley DMD 14, Kiirsten Finn DMD 14, Sameet Gill DMD 14, and Erik Harriman DMD 14 joined members of the Vermont State Dental Society (VSDS) on April 12, to participate in the Legislative Day. A senior weekend celebration was held for graduating DMD students May 4-6, 2012. The festivities kicked off with ASDA Hour at Estragon on Friday, May 4. GSDM hosted the 2012 Jay Siebert Tri-School Symposium on April 27 and 28, at the Boston Common Hotel and Conference Center. Post-doctoral residents from GSDM, New York University College of Dentistry, and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine presented a wide variety of research related to periodontics and implant dentistry.
