Science Day 2017 Awards Luncheon

  The 2017 Science Day Awards Luncheon took place on Thursday, April 20, 2017, to honor the winners of the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine’s (GSDM) annual Science Day, which was held on Thursday, March 16, 2017. The GSDM Science Day is a research celebration that features a keynote address and poster and oral presentations by faculty/students/residents/fellows/candidates in the DMD, DMD AS, MSD, PhD, DScD, and Advanced Specialty Education Programs. Thirteen judges evaluated 35 posters and 15 oral presentations. More

Two GSDM Researchers are Awarded CTSI Pilot Grants

Two researchers at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) were awarded pilot grants of $20,000 each by the Boston University Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI). Netsanet Gebreyes Joins GSDM

The Dental Health Center at 930 Commonwealth Avenue continues to attract new staff, as Netsanet Gebreyes has joined the Center as a Dental Assistant. She came to the Henry M. Kristie Clark Joins GSDM

Kristie Clark has joined the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) as a Patient Coordinator at the Dental Health Center at 930 Commonwealth Avenue. Ms. Clark came aboard in late 2016, and serves as one of the first individuals that patients come in contact with at the Center. BU Giving Day 2017 Breaks Records

April 5, 2017 will go down in the Boston University record books as the most successful Giving Day in history, with over $2.3 million dollars in donations received. The Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) yet again exceeded previous earnings, ranking in the top 5 schools at the University. Dr. Erdjan Salih Authors Chapter in Springer Protocols Oral Biology Book

Dr. Erdjan Salih, Associate Professor in the Department of Periodontology at the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, recently published a chapter in the Springer Protocols book 2nd Edition, Oral Biology: Molecular Techniques and Applications.
