On Sunday, September 24, 2017, 24 members of the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) community volunteered at the annual Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. The GSDM group was made up of members of the American Association of Women Dentists (AAWD), as well as members of the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), Women in Dentistry, and Miles and Smiles. The group volunteers in the food and water tent, handing out nourishment to the walkers who completed the historic 26.2 mile route.
