Staff, faculty, and the families of graduating pre-doctoral students celebrated graduates at Senior Awards Brunch Saturday, May 17, 2014, at the Fuller Building on the Charles River Campus. Dean and Mrs. Jeffrey W. Hutter host the event annually to celebrate graduates and recognize those who have excelled in their dental education.

This was also the first chance for students to see their yearbooks, titled, Crowning Achievements, in graduates’ usual pun-filled fashion.

The Scarlet Jazz Ensemble, comprised of students from Boston University College of Fine Arts, provided music during brunch.

Dean Hutter addressed guests before the award presentation. “Although you may not receive an award today, you must understand that all of you are winners and the faculty and staff feel that it has been an honor having you as students and now colleagues,” he said.

“And to the award winners: For you to be singled out among such a distinguished group is indeed an honor that speaks to your extraordinary abilities.”
