On May 16, 2013, residents of the Advanced Specialty Education Program in Endodontics Class of 2013 celebrated their graduation at the Prudential Tower Skywalk. Director of the Advanced Specialty Education Program in Endodontics Dr. Sami Chogle hosted the event with the support of the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine Endodontic Alumni Association.

Dr. Chogle welcomed guests and invited immediate past Associate Dean for Advanced Education & International Programs Dr. Thomas Kilgore to the podium to present remarks. Peter Morgan ENDO 75 spoke on behalf of the Endodontic Alumni Association.

Dean Jeffrey W. Hutter then addressed the group. He said, “I extend my sincere congratulations to the graduating residents and my thanks to the families who have supported these graduates during their time at the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.” Dean Hutter continued, “I commend Dr. Chogle for the excellent job he has done in educating the graduates as the Director of the Advanced Specialty Education Program in Endodontics.”

Dr. Chogle named the continuing endodontic residents before announcing each of the 14 graduating residents in attendance, along with their guests and children, and the residents’ post-graduation plans. He said jokingly, “Anyone counting can see six babies were born to this graduating class, so the class of 2040 is just about complete.”

He continued:

This evening is about the class of 2013 and what a journey they’ve had. I couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them. I hope that they’ll look back with fond memories of everyone who helped them along the way, and that they’ll give back to the program that made them what they are today, the best.
