Alumni Gather in Anaheim after the California Dental Association Meeting for 50th Anniversary Celebration

On April 11, 2013, the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) hosted an alumni reception at the Hilton Hotel in Anaheim, California, as part of the School’s 50th Anniversary Celebration. The reception followed the California Dental Association Meeting, which was themed, “The Art and Science of Dentistry.”

50th Anniversary Planning Committee Chair Dr. Tom Kilgore represented Dean Jeffrey W. Hutter at the gathering of GSDM alumni, staff, faculty, family, and friends. He said, “It was great to see a nice mix of recent graduates and also more senior alumni from the Henry Goldman era. I felt a great enthusiasm for celebrating the 50th from both DMD and post-doctoral alumni.” Kilgore also thanked Director of Development Ms. Kimberley Branca, who was attending and instrumental in organizing the event.

Dean Hutter added, “I am grateful to Dr. Kilgore, Ms. Branca, and all of our alumni who attended the event for continuing the celebration of our 50th Anniversary in my absence.” Kilgore closed the evening by presenting a video that was produced specifically for the 50th Anniversary Celebration commemorating the past 50 years and highlighting what lies ahead for the School.
