Accreditation Committees Recognized at Dinner Hosted by Dean and Mrs. Hutter

On Tuesday, November 27, 2012, Dean and Mrs. Jeffrey W. Hutter hosted a dinner to recognize the Core Accreditation Committee and Advanced Education Committee for their outstanding efforts in support of our Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) Site Visit, which was held October 24–26. The dinner was held at the Algonquin Club of Boston on Commonwealth Avenue.

The site visit included both our Pre-doctoral Education Program and all of our Advanced Specialty Education Post-doctoral Programs except for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, which received full accreditation after its visit from the CODA Site Visit Team in October 2011.

After a social hour in the Daniel Webster Room, the group was seated for dinner in the Calvin Coolidge Room. After dinner Dean Hutter thanked the committees, noting “I am honored to serve as Dean of our School and I cannot express enough appreciation for all of the hard work and commitment that you invested into this process. The self-studies and site visits were truly outstanding.”

The Core Accreditation Committee and Advanced Education Committee were chaired by Dr. Paula K. Friedman and Dr. Thomas Kilgore, respectively.
