Events, Workshops & Retreats
The Hariri Institute for Computing is pleased to announce our Spring program: Wednesdays @Hariri
Meet the Institute Fellows!
Every Wednesday between 3 and 5 PM, the Institute will be open for conversation and presentations about computing, computational research, big data (or small data), and how computing is changing research. Some days will have a formal presentation, others will be informal talks, or just conversation. But it will always be interesting!
Wednesdays @Hariri begins on Wednesday, February 13, with:
Distinguished Lecture
Ayse Coskun
Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering
Hariri Institute Junior Faculty Fellow
Title TBA
Ayse Coskun was one of the first class of Junior Faculty Fellows for the Hariri Institute. She received her Ph.D. from University of California, San Diego in 2009. Her research interests cover temperature and energy management for computing hardware, 3D stacked architecture in chip design, and reliability analysis and optimization. Professor Coskun’s honors include the NSF CAREER Award (2012) and the Best Paper Award from the High Performance Embedded Computing (HPEC) Workshop (2011).
