PHH-PRC welcomes new staff
Communications Specialist
Pamela King, Boston native, has extensive experience working in and around the greater Boston community and beyond. She is a graduate of the University of Hartford, in Connecticut, and received her master's degree in Educational Administration from Northeastern University. Pamela is often asked to compose brochures, letterheads, and newsletters for professional and volunteer organizations. She is currently Publicity chair for one of her membership groups, which includes creating ads for newspapers, brochures, program booklets, management of Web site, and researching other means for promoting the organization.
In her role as communications specialist, Pamela assists the PHH-PRC in disseminating information to the center's constituency and to the general public. She also maintains the center's Web page and a network and resources, in order to promote the mission of the center and to ensure that residents of Boston’s public housing are receiving information pertinent to the issues of health and access to services.
Program Coordinator, Community Committee for Health Promotion (CCHP)
The Community Committee recently hired Belicia Wilkinson as program coordinator. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the CCHP and the promotion of the overall goals and objectives of the center. Belicia has a degree in Criminal Justice and has extensive experience in community and volunteer work, most recently with the National Black College Alliance. She continues to be active in her community and brings with her energy and intellect to get the job done.
